    No idea why some of these are on the ballot for "Rock and Roll" hall of fame, but whatever. Currently Bon Jovi is rocking first place.

    Some of these should have been in RnR HoF long ago.
    Then again, RnR HoF it's a joke. Pretty much like most of the award and what not ceremonies...

    So what five would you choose? I agree the selection is somewhat of a joke when you see who gets selected and those who don't. Just what is their criteria? Too often it seems like a popularity contest and while sales is an indicator, they seem to put less emphasis on originality and quality. Most difficult to me would be to judge the quantity of work and how this factors in. If an artists produces one or two ground breaking phenomenal albums should they get in, or just how much does a lengthy career count? Link Wray is a good example. Not very popular in the grand scheme of things, but he was the first to create a distorted guitar sound and use power cords so popular with future rock and roll guitarists. My picks:

    Link Wray
    Zombies

    Some of the others deserve to get in later.

    Weird Al has had a greater impact on the music scene and for far longer than most of the above.
