    @John@OBSIDIAN-PC
    Any idea if this software can fix the issue on the N870HK1 where the CCC will keep dropping back to automatic a few minutes after setting max fan speed? You had mentioned in some earlier posts about the software sometimes loosing fan control and I am wondering if that's the same exact thing that's causing the problems with CCC

    Also can your software and CCC work together because I use my laptop for work as well as gaming and want to be able to still access power saving mode while overriding the default fan settings ?

    Hello everybody,

    I have a Clevo W150HNM model and the fan is always on. I have already changed the thermal paste but it was not sufficient to make the fan works on lower speed. Then I found this tutorial about RLECViewer and OBSIDIAN.

    I need to give you a feedback about both programs.

    ############

    RLECViewer:

    It works only if the battery is plugged on the laptop. The manual configuration is very good and I noticed that the fan starts to get loud and annoying when it is working on 35% of speed. If I unplugged the battery, the laptop turns off after 5 min running the RLECViewer.

    OBSIDIAN:

    I was not able to run this software. After installed, the program does not work and an error message appears telling that is needed to open the program again.

    ############

    Could someone share information about what is the percentage the fan starts to get loud ? In my case was 35%.

    I have open a post to discuss this issue: http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/clevo-w150-hr-change-the-fan-do-i-need-to-upgrade-it.827976/

    It's model dependent and subjective depending on your ears and whether you use headphones

    There is no harm in playing with the fan/temp table at idle. If you set it too low they might turn off. In which case just put the numbers up again.

    This program is nowhere near as good as Obsidian Fan Control but unfortunately that doesn't work with the old HM and EM series.

    I could not give my opinion about Obsidian because I have a Clevo old series.

    I decided to not use RLECViewer anymore because the laptop turned off several times during the software execution.
