40k vantage on a single gpu system is pretty far fetched my friend.:D

No I was predicting 40k vantage stock on a SLI system when our boost is enabled in BIOS which is coming soon according to dell engineering. The m17x got this fix recently.

Do you have an iPhone or similar that you can just place sideways on a box or something? That way you can record your laptop screen as you're gaming so we can get a realistic representation since FRAPS does use quite a bit of resources.

I finally got her up and running, transferred all of my games over etc. etc.

My first Vantage run was ok I suppose, I am using the official 302 driver, it managed 35715 GPU, 25387 CPU, with 32418 Overall.

It is completely non-overclocked. (and will likely stay that way, with the exception of a replication of Factory OC settings once an unlocked BIOS becomes available)

I made sure to turn off all of the unnecessary processes and bloat-ware with only Hwinfo32 running in the background.

The back of the rig was elevated about 2 inches for optimal cooling and the ambient temperature was roughly 70 F.

I don't know the temps of the GPU's as Hwinfo32 does not recognize them.

GPU 1's fans weren't blowing as hard as GPU 0 and there was less heat so I had some concern of under-utilization.

CPU temps varied from 73 to 76 C across all the cores at a max of 3.8 Ghz.

One odd thing I noticed was that it took a bit longer for the test to get going, spending longer with "shader warming" before the initial Jane Nash portion of the test.

    What do you guys think?

Any settings I could tinker with in BIOS even though it is non-factory OC configured?

I just cant wait until they release a boost-unlocked BIOS hopefully soon. The m17x r4 got it for the 680M.

What is different in the Factory OC settings vs using the BIOS built-in Overclocking Levels (Level 3, for instance)?

It was my understanding there was no difference between factory overclocking and just setting the BIOS yourself?

I am a "The Secret World" Player. Prior to the m18x I had a G73sw

Frame rates on the G73 (460m) were mid 20's at medium settings with everything except tesselation turned off.

680m Sli everything maxed out . usually over 90 fps, lowest was high 30s (304.79 drivers)

Verdict - I am very very happy
