Can anyone guide me on how to disable wake on lid open on this laptop?

I have set "Choose what happens on lid close" to "Do nothing" on both Battery and Plugged-in in Power Options. A solution I got when I searched for it was to go to Device Manager > System Devices > ACPI Lid > Power Management > Uncheck "Allow this device to wake the computer" but I have no such Power Management tab there.

So I installed equalizer and viper, and I honestly don't notice a difference in sound volume or quality. Anyone else experience this as well?

Have this laptop in the way, but what I really need to know is, since it has switchable graphics... Will it run an external monitor through the GTX1070? I’m planning on using an Acer X34 (newer version) @ 2K @ 120Hz w/ G-Sync.

If it won’t, it’s refuse delivery or return unopened.

The external outputs are hooked into the dgpu directly, g-sync etc is supported through them.

WHEW... Thx @Meaker@Sager! This laptop is for a friend and arriving tomorrow so I can configure it for him. He also bought a Acer x34, so I get to "borrow" it until I take everything over to his house to set up :D.

No problem, the switchable part is just for the internal panel. The thought is if you have a monitor plugged in you are likely near a power outlet anyway.

Hi, may I ask how the 2 x M.2 are wired ? 2 lanes or 4 lanes and is the (optional) thunderbolt 20 or 40 ?
ad keyboard: white backlit vs rgb
is the white backlited good enough to work in the dark ?
    thanks.

Thunderbolt is full speed. M.2 is 4x (though usual chipset max 4x total applies). Keyboard is RGB and combines for white. Yes it is bright enough in the dark.
