I've never been into the franchise, except for RE4, but I have to admit this looks freaking awesome.

Played the PS4 demo and downloaded the PC demo, it's a fantastic remake and a great demo :D

    EDIT:

I forgot to add this, an issue I experienced with PS4 Pro, it seems that HDR is botched for this game. Using HDR results in an uniformly grayer picture compared to regular SDR. I hope this gets fixed, because it is very jarring to see, specially compared to other games like God of War which are incredibly colorful.

Alright, played the PC demo, it runs pretty great.

Using 4K, dropping image quality from 100% to 90% (which I suspect is internal rendering res), AA, Rays from max to high and shadows from max to high, I was able to keep what seems locked 60fps at 4K. Pretty good stuff imo.

Leaving everything ON/Max yielded 40-45fps average, with lows of 27 in specific areas. Very small drop in quality to jump to 60fps worth it.

It is my first game of the franchise and i like it alot (gameplay, atmosphere,...). Great way to enjoy this classic horror survival in modern robe. Runs fine with my eGPU 4GB RX570 on Bootcamp Windows 10. Default settings seems to be 1080p on medium. I am pleased with the visuals and it runs absolutly smooth.
