Yeah, me for example, completely new to this liquid metal sh*t :D

Gonna do a repaste soon, cause my xm runs 85 C in my M17x R4, when on 4 Gig all cores (and higher when on 4+).
Grizzly Kryonaut and the m14x r2 fan already in use.

Not sure yet bout which one to use, CLU or Condu.

Also got a question: read smthing bout LMs being temperature sensitive, as the room I store my lappy is not heated winter time, and during the night temps can reach down to 4-5 C (only heat it when i'm inside, bout 2 hours a day).

Is it true LM drying out quicker at such temps or not that relevant?

Condutonaut. Coollaboratory has changed the recipes. Not the best choice anymore.

Liquid metal start solidify (drying out) when ambient temps starts to creep below its rated 8/10C.

Thanks! I see, think gonna try it and find out where that path leads me to.

What's also been hindering me is that in case of a reapplication it's more messy to remove than normal compounds.
Gonna order Condu and 33+

Time to bump this old thread again for those that are not familiar with liquid metal and the benefits it can provide.
