Hi guys, just a heads up, logged in earlier to have a look at a thread, when i went to the forums and clicked on the alerts, it started loading the page then redirected to an autobambas.com address that redirects to a few different sites, anything from sites offering games to "update your device for $$$$ before the timer runs out or else"

Yes it's happen to me too but the problem with me was I never let the page fully load so when I though I was clicking on it I was clicking on the banner/adds . I found this out after it did it to me 5-6 times. Once the page fully loaded the banner was where I clicked.

Srop spreading this malware ****. These advertisements are obtrusive and also spread malware if someone is clicking on it by accident. It also makes browsing a chore.

Switch to the vBulletin 3.x - Fluid style and see if that improves your browsing experience. There's a style chooser at the lower left.
We've been able to find no evidence of malware.
Reported issues like this tend to be difficult to track due to the fact different users may be served different ads. I use this forum without ad-blocking software and have yet to experience issues. The same goes for the front page.

It only happens on mobile devices. It's not a popup but more like a hijack of the website. I came across similar obtrusive ads on other websites too suggesting that the ad network being used was compromised.

It became even worse today. This is just one of the 5 fullscreen site hijack ads i came across today.

Ok, thanks, I've submitted an inquiry for that to be reviewed.

Just to follow up here, we are working on tracking down the source of this ad. I'll update as soon as we have more info/a resolution.
