does anyone have this laptop? How has it performed? Heating, fan noise etc?

I’m trying to decide between this and the MSI GE75. It really good reviews and specs and performance seems to be amazing with great sound, heating and fan noise. Unfortunately it’s also so ugly and expensive.

The recoil seems a cheaper option and I can add more memory and Ram and it is still cheaper. I have however heard hearing is an issue with it. Also I have no found any reviews kn this laptop so would be buying blind.

    Can anyone help?

Recoil 3? Where did you get the model name from?

If I'm not mistaken PC Specialist Recoil 3 is based on TongFang chassis.

Actually Recoil 3 17" version based on TongFang GK7CP7S and 15" based on TongFang GK5CP6Z

£2200 is my max which is how much the msi is. The tongfang is cheaper and I can add more ram and storage but I don’t want to buy it without reading/watching reviews as the msi has great reviews

    Have you considered Clevo P775TM1-G with i7 9700K or i9 9900K.

From PCS you can get i7 9700K/RTX2070/32GB/1080p IPS for £2024 with 2yr warranty. (No OS or HDD)

You can get Win 10Pro key from ebay for less than £5 and get Sabrent/Corsair/Pioneer 2tb NVME ssd for £220

P775 is not a lightweight system but extremely flexible when it comes to spec.

Try Defiance VI (Clevo P970RD) with RTX 2080Max-Q

Whatever you buy don't select HDD/SSD and OS(or any software). They are cheaper from other sellers.
