Could you provide the vbios that you used? Also from what model machine, I know when you do that sometimes not all of the display port connection work. Let’s see some benchmarks :)

    Sure

The vbios I used was from the MSI GE75

    HDMI works at least

HWInfo64 is showing 150w gpu power draw

What kind of performance numbers are you getting with 3D Mark?

I’ve flashed it myself the performance is terrible and the 150W is false I checked it with a watt meter at the wall the power draw of the entire system on load is 150W where as with the 100W bios it is 190W total system power draw.

    Oddly it's lower. (19500 vs 21500)

It looks to me that gpu boost is not working since the clock speed stays at 1380.

That's interesting. How terrible was it in your case?

Same exact behavior it’s as if the vbios thinks it’s drawing 150 watt constantly and artificially power limiting when it’s not drawing anywhere near 150W

Uninstalled drivers using DDU and reinstalled. Still no dice.

Tried to fix the voltage curve in msi afterburner but nothing happens.

Any ideas what else to do?

Can you try nvidia oc scanner?

I'm at uni and won't be able to any more testing till later today.

I also noticed that the gpu core voltage is lower now at 0.65v compared to 0.73+

Physical score is still lower for 9750H, it should be around 17K so you still can increase the score, didn’t you tweak the vr core (imon)?

I dont want to test it any longer, as I got really weird behavior when flashing back and was stuck at 990MHZ and had to wipe drivers and flash again... I dont think our cards like the 2080 150W vbios at all...

Yes I did but havent found any way to increase the score further I am locked at 4GHZ with the imon tweak it will not hold 4.1GHZ or higher it constantly as it frequently drops back to 4GHZ. Did you know a way around this?
