Yes, I think it should be higher.

This is my firestrike result with the stock 90w bios on my GS75.

What kind of clocks are you running on your max q?

Edit* Please look at the new run:

It seems that now in performance mode with razer central/synapse I get an impressive boost!

Clock speeds depends on the game I'm running. Maybe I'm getting higher clocks because I'm running cooler?

I hit +-1700 mhz in apex but only 1300+- in metro exodus with RT enabled.

    Great graphics score BTW

Going to flash the 100w vbios now. Will post results when I finish benchmarking.

I flashed @aIJay 's vbios and unfortunately it still caps at 90w.

@Hackintoshihope can you share the 100w vbios you are using?

You aren’t capped at that it’s razer central/razer synapse causing the problem... if you rapidly select between medium and high performance in razer synapse it will draw 100+ up to 120 what I’ve seen so far I can see this because I’m actively monitoring it with hwinfo and watching the draw... however something keeps making it drop down from 100W?!

So Razer Synapse is the one enabling the 2080 to run at 100w?

Does it only reach 100w if synapse is running?

Haha figured it out! And you all are going to laugh how I figured it out... I stuck my laptop in the freezer and used chrome Remote Desktop to monitor it... I had the freezer door closed with the power cable coming out the door haha!

Anyway findings are: GPU needs to be under 67C to be able to pull 100W+ if it isn’t then we are stuck at 90W. (This was wrong when the machine is out of the freezer even when under 67C it still will not hold 100W sustained and drops down within seconds to 90W sustained, then I have to apply performance mode again)

This also includes why sometimes even the Razer Blade Pro cannot pull more than 90W. What this means is my initial hypothesis was correct this is a hybrid 90 to 100W.

When you go above some value temperature I think (see above) you have to reapply the high performance option to once again unlock 100W.

What we need to figure out is how to max out fans in performance mode as balanced mode seems to be the only way to Max fans out?

Also yes as far as I can tell synapse allows us to use 100W with the 100W vbios... so like I said above it seems it’s a hybrid vbios 90-100W.

User without razer synapse may never be able to hit 100W as far as I know you all can never enable high performance mode on the vbios without razer synapse... thus without a razer product so I’m not sure if you can ever get the 100W mode to be enabled?

    Update #1
To fix above you must update the Razer Blade Bios to 1.04...

This seems to be the case.

So unfortunately it's limited to Razer products. :/

Going to look into flashing a (150w) max-p bios then.

So I went ahead and flashed the 150w 2080 vbios

    And it worked

Going to run benchmarks and see what scores I'll get.
