I’ve used the programmer they use and test clip in that thread on my razer and it works flawlessly. Also the China test clips suck... there is on in there from amazon that is superb and allows a proper connection to the bios chips. The Chinese ones constantly break.

Yeah the newer TL866CS' have that issue. Which seems to be because of over sensitive over current protection. It's easy to over ride that using a hard mod to the programmer though.
    OR
You can use the CoRight Skypro. Way faster and works like a charm for inline flashing. Slightly cheaper as well. :D

Could've possibly been an issue with my test clips then. I'll try looking for a better set on amazon. thanks :)

@bloodhawk must be on to something, I use the skypro. However again look through the thread I linked and you should find some equipment to help you along with repairs and tweaking.

    Very nice info @bloodhawk @Hackintoshihope
It is always very complicated to flash routers with SPI flash multiple times. That way would make test flashing a bootloader much easier.

Does the Skypro also support 256mbit+ Quad SPI chips like the Spansion S25FL256S?

Edit: Never mind, I found the supported chips list. Support is very extensive. I like it.

I see, i hate nvidias policies
I think it is safe to say Razer won´t sign a mod :)
Is there a way to obtain a means of signing it yourself without signing any NDA?
