So my screen broke and I was able to replace it but I can't get the bezel to stay down. I ordered some 5mm souble sided electronics tape on amazon and placed it all over the the edges but it won't hold in the corners. Do I need to use more of a foam double sided tape? The stuff I used seemed thinner than what I removed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

0.2mm or 0.3mm (the later is safer) foam tape should do the trick. Had the same issue in the past with replacing screen bezels. Make sure it is heat resistant so it doesnt come loose while it is being heated up on the bottom.

I am unsure or not if the bezel is metal ... if so, in removing it, it may have become distorted and slightly bent out of shape.

In either case, it will probably also help to clean both sides thoroughly of all the old adhesive. Make sure nare a spec of old adhesive is there is there, and then clean both sides with goo-gone, then alcohol before applying new adhesive, then after new adhesive is applied, apply heat, and use something to keep it in place (We use plastic clamps for jobs like these in the shop i run) for 24 hours.

If you dont have plastic clamps, laying it on a flat sturdy surface with a book on it might do the trick.
