    Great remarks. Yeah, some of the scenes weren't exactly necessary, but oh so well done. Tarantino always seems to put quite a bit of blood and gore into his movies to appease one of our core emotions of the bad guy getting what's coming to him. The real life Tate murders was very violent in itself. So while the violence in the movie was somewhat egregious and graphic, I didn't think it was in there just for the reason to do so. Frying those Germans (the movie within the movie) was though.

    Oh, and the biggest inaccuracy in the movie? Smoking LSD can't get you high. DMT can, so maybe it was sold to him as LSD, or Tarantino purposely went with it because it's not as well known and movie goers wouldn't understand? Know your hallucinogenics people!

    This is most likely the reason, And I wouldn't blame Tarantino for that. No one will know DMT, but LSD - you bet!
