    Emoji Movie - 5/10

I don't know why this movie is scored so low, like 0% or 1/10 by most users. Was it new and innovative? No. Was it creative. Kinda. Was it predictable and formulaic? Yes. Did it keep my interest throughout? yes. Was I amused? Yes, although really nothing very funny stood out. Lots of forced one liners.

It was no Toy Story or Monsters, Inc. But it was like most other kids animated films. Similar plot, similar story, similar characters. My kids really wanted to see it so I caved. It was simply an average kids film, so 5/10. I wouldn't by any means recommend you run out and go see it right away, but if your kids want to see it, it's really not that bad. Given that there's so many other great films out right now though, I wouldn't pick this one first. I really wanted to see Spider-Man Homecoming, but my kids for some reason had no interest.

Not a movie, but so far, "The Orville" is the best sci fi I've seen in a long time. It's like comedic Star Trek TNG. So much better than the new Star Trek Discovery show so far too.

Reminds me a lot of Galaxy Quest combined with Spaceballs, but has serious elements with some good comedy built in. Well acted and well executed with good special effects too. Great stage set.

Gattaca is really good if you like thinking SciFi movies.

I just watched Hell or High Water. It was really good. I'd say 9/10.

Kong Skull Island was a bit cliched, but entertaining. I'd say 6/10.

One of my favorite movies period. And it's aged pretty well I think, though I'll probably have to watch it again to see if that's still the case, it's been a few years.

I'd agree for a 20 year old SciFi movie, it's aged well. Probably because there's no special effects in the movie. It's about ideas. You could have made it in the 1950s and it would still look good. The only part where I think it looks a bit dated is the use of CRTs in a few of the scenes. If they could have found a way to make them look like LCDs, it would look very contemporary.
