Expendables - 9/10. Actually if it was the same movie with no-name actors it would have been maybe a 7/10, but you can't ignore the actors...

I wouldn't put Scott Pilgrim and Kick-Ass in a competition against each other....they're too different.

It's like comparing Sin City and Spider-Man.

    Inception IMAX - 8.88
    SALT - 5.59
    The Expendables - 7.99

I had some spare time. Tried to give back to the film industry.
My way of showing my appreciation for the downloadable films.

You cant give Pandorum a better score than the epic Fight Club?
It goes against the laws of phsyics.

Just spill your view, everyone here has seen that movie.
If not, they better be virgins.

Well, having only seen one I can only go on what little I've gleaned from trailers.

But, from what I can see, the two are both off-beat comic-book adaptations with a strong funny streak (far more so than Spiderman etc), so to compare the two is not quite so unreasonable as you seem to be suggesting - it's not like I'm asking for a comparison of Scott Pilgrim and The Shawshank Redemption or anything ridiculous like that.

Both being comic adaptions may give them a common link to each other but they're still very different movies. It's like comparing American comics to Japanese manga.

Kick-Ass is like Dark Knight meets live action role-play while Scott Pilgrim is more like the Adam West Batmans meets the classic Nintendo meets live action anime.

I would still say they're a lot more similar than a lot of films.
Same sort of target audience and, in broad terms the same genre.

Currently watching Death Note - a definite 10/10.
The sequel's not as good but you have to watch them both to see the story line through to the end.

I'm sure it's not a patch on the anime but having only seen the film, based on it's own merits I think it's great.

Though, like I say, the second one's definitely not as good.
