Wow 7690m is pretty much identical to the 6750m:

I thought it had a significantly faster clock, like 725 / 900 vs 600 / 800 for stock 6750m. My GPUz shows my overclocked one though.

you have 2 big diferences for me!
1º The cpu, in my option The i7 its better than a Amd A8, but you are able to see results of this cpu's
2º the gpu, I dont think its really needed the 2gb gpu , i think only need memory for the high resolutions, we dont know the future of gaming lol, so its more good business pay more for this 2 things, cpu and gpu

    The 7690M is a rehashed 6750M.
Likewise, the 7690M XT is a rebranded 6770M.

This reflects badly on AMD ethic. NVIDIA is worse though with their 9000, 100, 300 mobile series rehashes.

GPU Z seems to have read the info wrongly. However, DDR3 VRAM is possible.

The MXM 6770M at 725/900 still holds the crown then.

Also ignore GPU-Z guys, it's totally confused. Bus width, memory type and ROPs are all messed up.

yknyong1, I did misunderstand, I thought that 7690M had the same clocks on stock. Now that you OCed and got pretty much identical score to XT, we can say that those cards in Envy 17 and HP DV6 are identical in performance. I'm still not convinced about Y470p.

Generic VGA video card benchmark result - Intel Core i7-2670QM Processor,LENOVO Base Board Product Name score: P5707 3DMarks

That's his Vantage score on stock clocks for Y470P owner. Would love to see the stock score in Vantage for Envy 15 as well for a comparison. I want to make sure it's the same GPU. Could you run vantage on stock pretty please?
