Ah, I see, you have very good attention to detail and that is a fair point. I'd also second a request to have Vantage scores redone in 1280x1024 with basic performance options for a fair comparison.

Could you guys OC to the same clocks and compare Vantage performance of XT and non XT just to reinforce Kevin's point? I'm only referring to GPU score in Vantage obviously.

Awesome, thanks Etiko. Could you do the same for Vantage please?

yknyong1, could Envy 15 have a stable overclock at 900/1000 for a comparison?

Max 800/1000. Limited by no voltage adjustment possible.

Anyway, the scores are very similar at 725/800, which indicate they are the same chip.

    7690M non-XT -1.00V
7690M XT -1.05V as said by HP owners

9500 in your case and 10800 in his case on stock in 3dMark06. That's almost 14% difference, which seems strange to me.

Could you also run Vantage in 725/800 and post it here?

By the way, one of the forum members have just recieved Y470P with 7690M and is in the process of testing it.

    [IMG] [IMG]

That's his GPU-Z that shows DDR3 memory, 32 bit and 4 ROP. Seems really strange to me. Then later GPU-Z showed 128 bit and 16 ROP. Will repost here as soon as he gets some scores.
