With current drivers, a stock GTX 460M should score 7400-7500 on the Vantage GPU.

The XT isn't accomplishing anything the 6770M wasn't already, anyway.

My 560M gets 15k on stock clocks 3D06, NBC must be really off to have a 460M that low.

Hmmm, I wonder if 7690M and 7690M XT are set to the same clocks, would they perform identically?

Your results seem to be generated at a resolution of 1280x768. Please run at 1280x1024 if possible for a real comparison.

To OP, AMD HD 7690M non-XT, as in the variant found in the HP ENVY 15 has 480 shaders and clocks at 600 core/800 GDDR5 memory (3200MHz effective). It is a rehashed HD 6750M GDDR5 still at 40nm. At stock clocks the HD 7690M scores 9500-9600 3DMark06.

    9524 3DMarks
Generic VGA video card benchmark result - Intel Core i7-2670QM Processor,Hewlett-Packard 1688 score: 9524 3DMarks

You may however, OC it to 800/1000 easily. YMMV.

I don't think he'll be able to with default demo benchmark software. My Y470 defaults to 1280x1024(768, 720) on Performance settings in different benchmarks because of 16:9, my Sager always defaults to 1280x1024 because of 16:10.

With 16:9 screens, the only resolution of LCD which allows default Vantage runs is 1920x1080.

The answer is yes. It's already been proven that they're the exact same card. There's absolutely no difference.

    Why I say so?

He changed the resolution before benchmarking. The popup dialog shows that. No resolution was mentioned to make the results comparable. If one comes in and because of the high results (it is really high scores) determines 6770M/7690M XT has superior performance, NBR will be doing a disfavour to that person.

He has the full version of 3DM06, otherwise results will be shown online.
