Hi, I was looking to buy an HP Spectre x360 (or a Dell XPS 13). Anyone can tell me how it feels typing in the keyboard? Is it comfortable enough?

Can anyone measure the width/height of the keys (I mean the letter keys), and the full keyboard size? I just want to compare it to an old Dell XPS M1330, that had the best keyboard I used on a 13 laptop.

    Thanks!

The Spectre x360's keyboard was surprisingly good. Not as much travel as, say, a ThinkPad, but a good bounce and good feedback. Certainly comfortable to type on. The column on the right hand side is occasionally annoying, but only if you rely on the corners of the keyboard to find your keys without looking.

The XPS 13, on the other hand, has one of the worst keyboards I've encountered in a premium notebook in some time. Short travel, spongey bottom, and a lot of flex. I returned mine in a day.

Great to know thanks! In fact one of the reasons i'm looking for the Spectre x360 is because it has that column at the right hand, i use those keys (PgDown, PgUp) all the time, so i prefer to have them as dedicated keys without using Fn key. Besides, is almost equal to the keyboard in the old XPS M1330, the only difference being the shorter up/down keys.
