What is included in the "Hours" reported by the Bios - is it the total time the machine was booted, including sleep time, or is it total time the machine was awake and functional? for example, if I boot up and work for one hour and then put the machine to sleep for 7 hours before shutting down, does the Bios "Hours" count increment by 1 hour or 8 hours? Or something else?

    Thanks.

    Hours is counted in tens.
We have had this discussion before.
I cant recall for sure, but I think sleep counts.

Only ON hours count... The clock does not count when it's asleep. 33,000+ hours on one that I have had for 9 years, 5600 on the other, they both only accumulate hours when they are up and actually running in the systems....
