    Hi

Currently planning in getting an AW 15 in August...I would like to know if the ghosting issue still exist or they finally fixed it? If it still does exist then which screen display should I choose to best avoid such issue?

    15.6 inch FHD (1920 x 1080) IPS Anti-Glare 220-nits Display

    15.6 inch UHD (3840 x 2160) IGZO IPS Anti-Glare 300-nits Display

    15.6 inch UHD (3840 x 2160) IPS-Panel TrueLife 350-nits Display with Touch Technology

They said that this problem occurs with a regular 1080 display

I don't really need a 4K display nor the touchscreen, and preferably a 1080p display is more than sufficient and can save me a few dollar, but if its going to suffer such issue I would not hesitate to get the 4k instead.

Is the 350-nits have any display difference than just a 300-nits?

    Thanks!

I don't have any ghosting on my 4k screen. There is some light bleed in some of the corners though.

Do you have the touchscreen panel?

4K on 15" will mess everything up and DPI scaling is still not working as it should. Better make sure that you can live with 4K resolution and it's issues. Many older games just won't scale up it's interface.

Even scaling it to a 1920x1080?

I mean I'm not really planning in using the 3840 x 2160 on the laptop screen but rather just choosing the 4K panel to avoid those nasty ghosting problems.

No I dont. That option wasn't available at the time. I wouldn't get it anyways because the mouse is so much better to use anyways.

As far as the scaling.....I don't see any problem at all. I play most games at 1080 (I consider the minimum these days).

Since you have the 1080, is there any ghosting on the screen? Do you recommend in getting the 4K (w/o the touch screen)?

Absolutely zero ghosting. It looks beautiful. I think some bad panels went out in the beginning but I'd imagine that problem has been fixed by now.

Thank you for clearing this up, I dont really need the 4K UHD, I will consider the 1080 FHD display if its true that there is no ghosting issue.
