    1) What is your budget?

    2) What size notebook would you prefer?
    c. Thin and Light; 13" - 14" screen
    d. Mainstream; 15" - 16" screen
    3) Where will you buying this notebook?

    4) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?
    No preference
    5) Would you consider laptops that are refurbished/redistributed?
    Absolutely, that's my intention

    6) What are the primary tasks will you be performing with this notebook?
    Productivity, light gaming

    7) Will you be taking the notebook with you to different places, leaving it on your desk or both?
    I will travel to and from work with it and travel occasionally.

    8) Will you be playing games on your notebook? If so, please state which games or types of games?
    My main goal is to be able to play older games like Everquest 2 and Lord of the Rings Online on high settings while at a hotel or lounging in bed.

    9) How many hours of battery life do you need?
    3-4 while working with Word or Excel while web browsing.

    10) Would you prefer to see the notebooks you're considering before purchasing it or buying a notebook on-line without seeing it is OK?
    Sight unseen is fine but I'd prefer to see it.

    11) What OS do you prefer? Windows (Windows 7 / 8), Mac OS, Linux, etc.

    Notebook Components

    17) How much hard drive space do you need? Do you want a SSD drive?
    Preferred small SSD drive because I will store all of my large files on my gaming desktop. I will only use this laptop for productivity and a few games.

    18) Do you need an optical drive? If yes, a DVD Burner, Blu-ray Reader or Blu-Ray Burner?

    Thanks so much you guys! I already have a fantastic gaming desktop that serves as my "home base" for all of my media. I'm looking for something cheap that I can lie in bed with and play some older MMOs and also be comfortable with using it for productivity throughout the day at work. I'm ok with going back a couple of generations in GPU. Like

    Can you find something like a Lenovo Y50? You should find some deal on Lenovo website/outlet for it... The 1080p IPS model if possible is something you need to get.. It might be slightly over budget but get it..
