Ive been looking at printers a lot lately and its just back and forth since reviews are equally positive and negative. So what Printer is out there that has a screen with high black ppm and cheap ink or toner refills. Someone help please.

Yeah, those are disposable printers. Every couple years I bought a new Brother laser because I could get the printer and two toner cartridges for the same price as a new toner cartridge ... lol. I would then donate the printer because it was in pristine condition.

But it seems one toner lasts FOREVER, at least as much as I print.

My family has 2 HP Laserjet 6P's

My dad got one new ages ago at full price (I think $800 or $1,400) and I pick mine up for about $10 used for the dorm. Great printer.

    Old Laserjets FTW!

I bought a oldschool laserjet 5m about 3 years ago when I was in highschool.

Its been on my network and everyone in my house uses it. Still works to this day, haven't even had to change the toner..

They are big, and don't look pretty, but they get the job done.. CHEAP!
