I really expect the answer to be no, but is there either a way to unlock a BIOS password, or, to enable virtualization outside of the BIOS on the Probook 430 G3?

Apparently a former employee set a BIOS password on this laptop, and I just now found out about it after going through and attempting to update the BIOS. Unfortunately the "former" part was quite a while ago, so it's very unlikely we'd be able to get it from him.

I've left the CMOS battery out overnight, but I knew that shouldn't have fixed it on a business unit.

In all honesty, though, outside of the ability to flash with a Spectre/Meltdown compliant BIOS, there's nothing preventing us from using it for the foreseeable future, and I'd just let it go and keep using it as we had for the past couple of years. Hell, I'd use it to replace the laptop I'm using at work, if it weren't for the crappy resolution, and the fact that Intel-VT is turned off, and I'm constantly using VMware. If there's a way to go enable that despite the lock, I'd settle for that as enough to qualify as a happy ending...

This question cannot be answered as it is about bypassing security measures which is against forum rules.
