Hi Guys, just got Acer Predator 17 X from Micro Center with best deal for now. Awesome laptop with good design and quality.

Only concern is full load stress test, cpu temp went up to 95C. I might need re-paste sooner or later.

I just got Acer Predator 17 X. Overall design and build are very satisfied, however only concern is stress test. CPU temp went up to 95 as you mentioned.

I am going to repaste Grizzly kryonaut soon. Any concern about it ?

By the way what do you think of Grizzly Conductonaut over Kryonaut? and what is BAM you mentioned ?

Sorry for the late reply, didn't notice there was a question for me. The Kryonaut is safer than the conductonaut which is liquid metal, any mistakes there and you could fry your CPU/GPU instantly, I wouldn't recommend doing it. BAM was just a term for like BOOM! lol. It's relatively easy to repaste so make sure you just do it slowly but surely. :)

No problems at all, just the thermal paste which degrades over time, if you're confident enough to repaste or find a service to do it for you, then you're all good to go.
