    No kidding, when I tried to remove the panels on my deceased M6500 they wouldn't budge.

    Also, I ordered a M6400 Covet off eBay Kleinanziegen, paid €220 for it including shipping.

    How well will a FirePro M7820 run in a M6400? I have a spare one from my dead M6500.

    Also, I tried the pinmod to get 333 FSB, connected BSEL2 to Vcc, didn't do anything whatsoever.

    What gives?

    Seems like you forgot to do the stuff with the clock generator to change the frequency

    The BSEL pins are shared with the north bridge and the clock generator. If you've done the mod on the side of the north bridge, that's not enough. The clock generator should be set up as well (the FSL pins on it)

    I only put a wire in the socket, that not enough?
