    My screen is about the same. It's noticeable enough that when I point it out to people, they can also see it, though I can't capture it on camera. I have been meaning to get it replaced, but I have been too busy.

    Huh, anybody can confirm that his SD-card slot works? I just pushed in a 2GB SDHC card and nothing happens. Same with a regular SD-card with 2GB. Any info on this?

    my 32gb sd class 10 card works in the slot.
    maybe check your drivers?

    I noticed the other day when I had the A05 BIOS installed (before flashing back to A04) that this added an option for 'Signed firmware'.

    Is this the UEFI Secure Boot option to support Windows 8? Can the Dell posters confirm this?

    If so, I'll be sticking with A04 for the life of the machine as I prefer Linux...

    My understanding of UEFI secureboot is that of you can boot Linux now (which you can with A05) then it's not enabled. So I think you're safe running A05 if that's your only concern.

    My only concern is that one day they remove the option to keep it disabled, in order to get Windows 8 'certification'.
