I had a Precision M3800 at one point, which was based on a previous XPS model, and yes, it was a far better experience. The large glass clickpad made for an excellent experience. I too was disappointed when I got the 7510 - they are objectively worse. Still, the experience on the 7530 is far superior to that of the previous gen, so be thankful you're not experiencing that... heh.

Hold on. So you mean the precision 7530 is using Microsoft precision touchpad driver other than the elan or whatever driver it used before? Right ? That's a wonderful news

Same dates for me, but ordered the 7730 - no updates yet. Haven't seen reports of the 7730 online yet, either.

BUT I'll not get this laptop until July 17 because I ordered this laptop to send to one of my American friend's house, and he will return to China on July 15 then deliver it to my house which will take 2 days. Why do I do this? Because Chinese laptop prices are fricking high, especially for those workstations.

A bit of irony since the laptop was probably (mostly) manufactured in China and then shipped off to the U.S. for delivery...

    Did yours arrive in time?

My ETA is 28/06 and still no signs of an arrival. 2 days from China to Netherlands another day to Germany and now it does not move or update since 27/06...

Has anyone heard any updates on when we can expect the AMD Radeon Pro graphics card options to be available on the 7530/7730? They're usually a little more reasonably priced than the Nvidia offerings.
