Usually the highest for a 1080p 60hz display is 70-75hz. I think 70 will be a safe bet for 7530.

Hi guys, I ordered a 7730 i9 p5200 version. Will g.skill 3200mhz ram 64gb works. The tech sheet says up to 32gb 3200mhz ram, but I remember two guys got 64gb works. Also where chance I track the details of my order like is it under manufacturing in China or something like that. Not the default Dell tracking system. Thank you guys. Will report back some test when I have it.

I personally think perhaps dell’s default toshiba xg5 is just fine. Wd black might be faster but the difference won’t be huge. On ebay those dell oem 1t xg5 are usually less than $300. $100 cheaper than wd black.
Besides, ssd’s price is in downtrend, perhaps now 1t nvme is $300-400, by the end of this year, with the same money you might be able to buy a 2t. So, i feel, if we can save some bucks, then why not?

Dell seems changed their tracking system recently. Now they will not show you the full tracking information. Only after your item arrived in US then you will be given a domestic fedex or ups tracking number. But when it was shipped from China, when it arrived in US, they do not let you know any more.
By the way, i think your 64g 3200 will work just fine.
Besides, samsung seems already mass produce 32g ddr4 sodimm chips. I guess we might see those 32g chips soon. And then we can check if 7530/7730 really support 32*4=128g or not.

What Chris Williams was asking was if it made sense to add the WD Black as a secondary SSD. The answer to that is that yes, it does.

hi guys, do you know what will happen if the energy star option in cutomization in 7530/7730 is checked? I heard some people say that once energy star is checked, the machine will have hardware limits and will not be able to have full power, is it true?
