    @RufusA,
    That's me :). Just as I expected, it is not a hardware issue. SMS Express is definitely buggy and it is possible there is also a firmware bug.

    I don't think there is anything else I can do in this case, apart from stating my findings. It does not look like I will get a response/help in Sierra Wireless forum based on the activity so far and Dell is not really interested in fixing it as well.

    Hi guys - got a quick query.

    My 7510 has the FHD panel / R52WF - the display is LGD04B9 - is this 45 or 72% color gamut? Thanks!

    That's one of the LG Phillips LP156WF6 series of panels. I'm not sure which one it is though. Some of those (like the SPB1 and SPD1) are very good and have high colour gamuts, while others (like the SPK1) have relatively low colour gamuts.

    My Latitude 5580 is using what appears to be a somewhat similar panel (LGD053F). It's bright but not too colour-accurate (49% NTSC/67% sRGB/51% AdobeRGB).

    When you bought the machine did you buy the UltraSharp 300nits/72% screen? Your purchase order/invoice should tell you which panel you got.

    I have disabled switchable graphics in the BIOS and would like to output from the mDP port to external monitor however I am not getting a detected display. The HDMI out works no problem but need DisplayPort output for high res screen.
    Any one able to help me on this ?

    Ok I just checked my Precision 7520, and it also has model LGD049B. It is a 72% gamut/300 nits panel.

    Windows update took place and it now seems the DP put works but blue screen occurs when using ext. Display.

    EDIT: Rolled back driver and put on latest Dell Nvidia driver but crashes all the same

    I have a question what temperatures does m2000m GPU reach under load in your m7510 laptop? I installed m2000m gpu in my m4800 laptop and the GPU has 44*C in idle and up to 79*C under load, and an administrator on another forum adviced me to reinstall the heat sink/cooler. As reinstalling the heat sink is hard work in my laptop, therefore I wont to be sure there is need to do it.
