While not Lenovo-specific, it would appear many in this forum are a cut above the rest and like to tweak/see the inner workings of their system. With this in mind, for those who might not be getting the most out of their battery, or are just curious, I found Windows’ Power Efficiency Diagnostics Report to be an interesting tool with a good deal of insight into the power efficiency of my Windows installation/hardware.

To generate the report, open a Command Prompt as an administrator, type “powercfg -energy” into the window and hit the Enter key. This command will produce a report, which will be saved as an HTML file for you to review.

I hope this helps, or enlightens, some.

    Cheers.

I've always gotten that error. I doubt it costs any power.
