The version of Photoshop I use is 10+ years old. I saw today NewEgg was offering Photoshop and Premiere Elements for $70, which more than half off. I don't use the high end features in Photoshop and I doubt I'll use Premiere, but I bought a copy. I got the physical disc version, so I'm guessing it'll be here next week.

I caved and bought a new display for use with a 3080. Curved (not sure how I will feel about that) 32" but same res and refresh as my old one 1440p/144. That's the biggest I can fit on my desk and I didn't want to spend a ton.

I'm tired of mechanical keyboards and gaming mice so I've sold off pretty much everything I've stockpiled in those categories. Used the proceeds to buy a Logitech MX Keys and MX Master 3. I've always liked the scissor switch Apple keyboards, and the MX Keys improves on them with slightly deeper travel and more tactile feel. As such, I'm typing just as quickly but with greater accuracy. Backlighting and USB-C charging are bonuses. The MX Master 3 is super comfortable, and the horizontal scroll wheel is a feature I never knew I wanted. Plus, the kind of gaming I do works just fine with these peripherals. The unifying receiver is a nice quality of life improvement, and the Logitech Options software, though somewhat barebones, gets the job done and is not a system resource hog (looking at you, Corsair and Razer).

A couple of Switch games since all were on sale for half off. The bonus was being able to watch all the sad people in line at the Best Buy being told the PS5 was sold out.

How long did you have it for?
