I had one for a little more than a year. Mid 2017 13-inch MacBook Pro without the Touchbar. It was nice, but I just kept on growing more dissatisfied with it. It funded my Razer Blade Stealth. Besides, my 2014 MBP was originally $3200, so that has to count for something, right?

While in Manhattan Beach over the weekend, I stopped into Peet's and got a couple pounds of some single origin blend.

Every cliche imaginable along with the classic: Q: How can you shoot women and children? A: Easy, you just don't lead them so much. For those who do not know, leading is taking into account of the fast that the target will have moved between the time the trigger is pulled and the time the bullet arrives. You don't have to lead women and children as much as you do men because they run slower. o_O See. War can be funny!

Just bought some Singapore noodles (which are lightly curried if ya don't know) for lunch:

Fossil Sport Smartwatch. Good value and something to tide me over. I still hope Google eventually makes a Pixel watch as Wear OS could use a major overhaul.

Forza Motorsport 7 Ultimate Edition. Played it on a friend's Xbox One a couple weeks ago and rather enjoyed it. Glad I waited until now to purchase because it was 50% off. Now to experiment with getting it to play over my Steam Link. I have it set up within the client software, but I'm afraid I'll probably have to buy Virtualhere in order to get the controller to work. Still $13 for that piece of software is much cheaper than $150+ for an entire console.
