My sister told me that she wants to get The Sims 4 and I don't think her laptop would do a very good job of running it, so I'm building her a computer out of spare parts (and some parts from eBay). Here's what she's getting.

    • Cooler Master HAF XB
    • Asus P5G41T-M LX PLUS
    • Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600
    • 4GB PC3-8500
    • 500GB Seagate Barracuda
    • nVidia GeForce GTX 460

The Core 2 Quad is coming from eBay as is a rather nice Deepcool cooler, an adapter that allows USB 3.0 to be connected to a USB 2.0 header, and an adapter that allows a USB device to be plugged directly into a USB header. I also have to dig out an optical drive for her.

I had to leave it unsupervised for a few minutes and did not want to jinx myself!

Or be the recipient to anyone's hijinks. :D Am I correct that it's a brand new home? Looks like no one has ever lived in it before.

Calm down. They're geraniums and violets.

If it is then you need to have the concrete guys come back and scrape off the splatter under the door. I would also add some polyurethane caulking against the house so that water doesn't wash out the subgrade. Might as well do all of the other saw cuts as well so you don't have dirt going into them, you can get a color to contrast your stamped concrete so it makes the tile pattern stand out more.

My gran passed away recently and those are flowers from her garden, she was going to help get us started but passed shortly before we moved in. We did manage to share shots of the house from ore-move in visits while she was in hospital so she got an idea of it.

The to be honest I'm not sure what they are but they are a nice reminder especially when I water them because of the smell.

Yes, brand new, you can get some more government assistance on a new build (20% interest free for 5 years which you get to count as deposit for the mortgage rates). The location is ideal for myself and my wife so we are very happy.

Our builder has been pretty good at warning us about items, I don't think that's an issue with UK houses. The garden paving is pretty basic true though in proper light it's yellow so maybe not concrete?

Not a construction expert by any means however :)
