    Anyway, wow, this thought has never appeared to me, nor I have ever heard people do that, expect for other, rather fishy reasons...
    Myself I never masked my DSLR and any of my two lenses (mind you I have a Canon 70-200mm, which is completely white), and somehow it still survived the life in Europe :D

    Samsung DeX Station and a couple of USB-C passthrough adapters. So far, using my phone as a desktop computer isn't too bad.

    WD MyBook 8TB external. From what I read, these have HGST Enterprise He8/He10 drives in them, or maybe relabeled WD Reds.

    Depending on which is less noisy, one will go into my unRAID server and another will go into a 1-bay Synology unit I’ll send off to my family so I can have and online, off-site backup.
