Yep, and my first purchase is a lucky one. WD80EFAX model from an Easystore with -NESN, Made in Thailand, and DCM = MGBJRCK). Good find at $160 for a drive that retails for ~$250.

Another HP Compaq nw8440 mobile workstation. It's just like my existing one, except it has a Core 2 Duo T7600 instead of a Core Duo T2600, an Intel Wireless card instead of a Broadcom wireless card, a Fingerprint Sensor, but only 2GB ram and no lightscribe. I bought it for roughly $13 from shopgoodwill.com, untested, with no hard drive, figuring I could use it for parts since the casing around the right hinge on my existing one is cracked and falling apart. But I threw the original 100GB XP drive into it, and lo and behold, it works great! I'm actually posting from it right now.

(And yes, I still have a reason for using a 11+ year old laptop: It still has a Linux partition, and it has 32-bit Windows for any 16-bit apps I need to run).

Do you still have that old Vaio TX-series laptop?

On subject, I recently bought a Vaio Tap 11 as well as a new set of Bluetooth headphones.

Shhh... I heard the guy doesn't like when you question his spending and financial status.
I voiced my concerns once, and was blatantly told that it was none of my business.
