Unfortunately this depends on many things - country, person him/herself, product, etc. My cousin worked as a door to door salesman after he got graduated. He couldn't sell that crap very well. He had to deliver pizzas part time too. Now since he got a spot at a state financed institution he couldn't be more happier - fixed salary, bonus, more bonuses for business trips. Knowing that I'm a pretty useless orator I would never apply to any work with tip based salary.
On the other hand I know a lot of people who live near tourist attractions and get a pretty decent income during summertime.

A new graphics card to replace my rock solid but aging GTX 580. Ended up getting a GTX 970, specifically the EVGA Superclocked model with ACX 2.0 cooler.

Now, I know my 580 was the top card of its time, but damn does this thing blow it away. Battlefield 4 at 1080p with everything on Ultra consistently gives me over 100 frames per second, occasionally dipping as low as the 80s. I used to have to turn a lot of stuff down to Medium to get those numbers with my 580.

For $350, I'd say I definitely got my money's worth.

And here I am with my old Quadro FX 3800. My Alienware may have a GT 750 and my bedroom computer has a Radeon HD 7570, but my main system is the desktop in the nerd cave.

On subject, I bought Sonic Adventure 2, Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed, and Geometry Wars 3. They actually all run rather well using the Quadro in my desktop.

Logitech M510 mouse. Decided I needed something a bit bigger than the M515.

Yeah, it's a good mouse. Being a full sized makes it even better. Price/features ratio is also nice.
