It's kind of funny how you post that as I was working on my Mini 1012 last night. Windows 7 Home Premium ran so horribly on it and I really wasn't trying to screw around with Linux on that system, so I just formatted and installed Windows XP Professional and all performance issues are now solved.....mostly. I would like to get a Broadcom Crystal HD card for it at some point and while I'm in there, I might as well pull the 3G card out since I don't see myself ever using that. Aside from that, I just need a new battery for mine as well as a power adapter.

The Atom processor it's really too weak for Win 7, in my opinion.

Power adapters are about $9 shipped from ebay. Just watch out for those that don't come with the A/C cord. Yes that's weird.

I just bought the 10v for $50 shipped. Nothing wrong with it. They just didn't have a power cord. When I powered it up it resumed from sleep.

I swapped out the 160GB HDD for a new 120GB SSD that I got for $60. I wanted it because the Mini 9 keyboard is a bit funky. I use the Mini for motorcycle trips and a fanless all solid state netbook is perfect for my needs.

I feel like saving a bit on gas (because, you know, $2.50/gal is real bad here) and getting into better shape. Campus is only about two miles from my apartment, so.... I bought a bike:

Also bought some stuff for it (front/rear lights, speedo, u-lock, car carrier, and a pump). Also picked up some food and some diluted hydrogen peroxide for my contacts.

Might not be that easy in those high heels of yours...

That bike looks awfully similar to mine. Tell me, where did you get it? :D
    Congrats on the purchase! Enjoy!
