Haha that was admittedly the worst Apple event I have ever seen. Tim Cook hawkin' a credit card. Lmao.

Well, it was a media event after all. Everyone was saying this leading up to the event, so I didn't expect any hardware announcements at all. That's probably why Apple kind of just surprised everyone with new stuff over the course of the previous week.

Thing is, I don’t really care about Apple’s “world class services”. Apple Music is just one out of a million streaming services and not the best one. Apple News isn’t of any interest to me since I read news for free and I have only two magazine subscriptions. And TV, well, I’ll give them a chance to put out something more interesting than “Carpool Karaoke”, but with Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime, they're going to have to stand out. Apple joining a saturated market doesn't make for a captivating event.

If it’s not hardware or iOS/macOS, I’m probably not going to be interested. I knew what to expect, doesn’t mean it still wasn’t underwhelming. WWDC looks promising, though. I'm interested in further platforming of iOS apps to the Mac and the eventual adoption of ARM systems for Macs.

Just about the only thing that I’m interested in from the last announcement is Apple Arcade. I want to see if Apple actually does something with the platform or if it ends up like HomeKit, where it’s announced, released, and then kind of just goes by the wayside.

I've decided to get rid of my headache of a 2003 GMC Sierra after spending nearly a third of what I still owe on it trying to fix a mystery "clunk". So early next year, I'll be looking at buying a Prius C. Call me crazy for it, but I could definitely use something economical (and I'll still have my gas guzzler 1992 C1500 for doing truck stuff).

You know, my best friend said the same thing when I told him I was probably getting a Prius.
