Never heard of BMWs being for "douchebags". How absurd. That said, I'm more of an Audi and Mercedes man myself. :)

It's more like a "Not for X but #1 with X" sort of thing. It's kinda moving to Audi too (Merc not so much). Like there are people where you can talk to them for a couple of minutes and you start thinking "This guy is going to try to work the fact that he owns an Audi into the conversation any minute now" without even seeing his car.

In my neck of the woods the statement that "BMWs are for douchebags" holds true. If only you saw how they drive... Maybe in USA BMW drivers are a better lot...
Audi has recently also began to attract a lot of douches... Pity, since I kinda like Audi...

    Oh...my...GAWD... I'm slowly becoming a douchebag!
Time to put a shotgut in my mouth...

It will pass, just like it's doing with BMW, you just have to stick it out.

I donated to the kickstarter and will fork over whatever it costs when the product finally comes out.

Nope, I'd love to get a Tesla of my own some day. Still drive an Audi, but I love driving my dad's Tesla when I get the chance. In fact, if I could have any car at this point (within a reasonable price range), I'd probably choose a Tesla.

I doubt most people would define $90,000 as reasonable.
