gettin my girl her first Rolex in a couple of weeks. it'll be a 26-31mm DateJust with a diamond bezel and her choice of dial.

    it'll look something like this:

i think she wants a pearl/lighter dial. i was too lazy to google a better pix.

    maybe to the untrained eye.

i happen to like that dial for a woman's watch, but i'm sure my girl will go with something more subtle to match my DateJust II.

Could be. On the other hand unnecessary flashiness sometimes makes expensive things look cheap.

the big difference here is: the moment u walk out of that store, or open those boxes, all of that crap automatically loses half of it's value.

i can, pretty much, sell most of my jewelry and either break even or make a little bit on top because i get the hook up prices from my peoples. nice jewelry is an investment.
not sure how a girly, pink dial with flowers is flashy but :shrugs:

flashy = diamonds and/or gem modifications.

Enjoy your jewelry, but even at hook up prices, I wouldn't call it a good investment.

But I love America and I'm gonna/gotta show it. Going to see American Sniper, eat a full rack of BBQ ribs, and wash it down with some Kentucky bourbon tonight. ;) My God, are these politicians for real?

What's wrong with "American Sniper", BBQ ribs or Kentucky bourbon? Not that I'm a fan of any of the above...

Nothing at all... all good products...especially if people are questioning your love for America- by all means indulge.
