FWD vs. RWD. vs. 4WD vs. AWD

    Fight.

To clear up any ambiguity, 4WD is part time selectable four wheel drive, AWD is always on four wheel drive. And Too 1337 for wheels = no wheels would be hover craft, tanks, roflcopters, etc.

I like the best of both worlds which I have right now in mah Jeep Liberty...RWD + 4WD when needed. Voted RWD btw!

Does Skyline's ATTESA-ETS count as AWD or RWD...?

If I recalled, its FWD based full-time AWD I believe

And I voted RWD.. nothing like a Big Ole Pushrod V8 behind a 6 speed cog swapper

But I really want to chose AWD.. specifically the Haldex AWD system.. the most advance in the world imo

No Skylines are RWD most of the time, but if the ATTESA controller detects slippage it sends up to 50% torque to the front wheels, thus being AWD...but it is done on the fly with no user control unless you manually tune the ATTESA controller. But again that brings up the question, is it AWD or RWD? :D

    No love for 3WD? lol

Personally I like AWD vehicles, while RWD are nice they're generally useless in Snowy conditions.

"I am 50 years old lying on the side of a street in Sheffield." - Jeremy Clarkson.

    CLASSIC! LOL! :D

I tend to stick with Full-Time AWD myself with RWD a close second if I had to.
