    Hello all,

I managed to unlock TME in a HP G7000 mobo (identical to Compaq C700).
The PLL is a SLG8SP512T and comparing the datasheets with SLG8SP513V they look exactly the same but have a different package. So, I tried SetFSB but apart from getting a wrong reading in the divider (I get 3/6 when I should get 3/5), when I try to alter fsb system hangs.. The funny thing is that even if I downclock the same thing happens..

I would go for the FSLx mod but I want to eliminate any chance for SetFSB to work on my PLL first.. any ideas would be very much appreciated.. Thanks in advance!

Note: I have tried all SLG plls in setfsb and get more or less the same results

    Hi everybody,

I'm trying to overclock the T8100 on my Dell studio 1535 Laptop..
It looks like the PLL (SLG8SP513V) is locked, when I choose it in setFSB that says "PLL Byte error".
After a lot of internet research, PLL pinmod seems to be the only solution for this one, but I don't know wich pinmod I exactly have to do.

Somebody can tell me what exactly I have to do to make the FSB from 200 to 266Mhz?

    Dell Studio 1535
    ATI mobility HD3450 256
    PLL: SLG8SP513V
    Chipset: Intel PM965
    CPU: T8100 @2.10Ghz
    FSB: 200Mhz

    Thanks.

    Update: HP G60 (GL40 + ICH9 + T7500)
Running completely stable with 11.0x Multiplier (1.15v) + 233 mhz FSB + 116.7 mhz PCI-E + 38.9 mhz PCI @ 2567 mhz. Just encoded a 1:30 hr video to H264 at 100% CPU and OS load for 1 hour 10 minutes with no thermal throttling. CPU temp is reading 32 degrees celsius.

ICS9LPRS365BKLF (But the ICS9LPRS365BGLF setting in SetFSB works fine)

Anybody know or asked if sb notebook CPUs are possible to BCLK overclock. Desktop CPUs doesn't OC or OC very little. I am having a 2310M and before upgrading I want to check if it's overclockable.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hello
Excellent topic, nice lecture, and after 3 day digging into this matter i know what is what BUT i would need someone to guide me by hand :p

i want to pinmod my dell e1705, processor t7400, PLL: ICS954305EKLF. setfsb doesnt read its values.

i was going to spend 100$ on upgrading cpu, but id rather pinmod, i could learn a lot in the process. become my guide to get my appreciation and 50$.

    thanks

All you need is here http://forum.notebookreview.com/hp-compaq/421282-successfully-overclocking-dv2000.html . You'd be increasing the PLL frequency form 166->200 either by setting FSLa (pin41) LOW or FSLc (pin23) HIGH. Setting LOW/HIGH can be done by either isolating the pin and running it to GND/3.3V OR putting a pulldown/pullup resistor in the circuit. If successful then you'd have: T7400-2.16@667 -> 2.60@800
