Civic TypeR VTEC Turbo? That sounds like something my grandpa would buy. Now maybe if they gave it a more aggressive name like Civic TypeR VTEC iTurbo Sx Tokyo Drift Edition then I'd be interested.

As someone who hates d-bag Civics with a passion, i vote NO. Especially since the people who drive these cars always blast their (crappy) music and have super loud mufflers.

They'll just buy other cars instead.

I don't blast music, nor do I have a super loud exhaust, and I drive these.

Don't be so stereotypical. Vote for me.

Ha that's funny, every Honda Civic Si owner I know around the DC Metro area has a loud exhaust on their Si.

I got some qualms about this car...Honda is not known for their turbos...neither is the Type R/Si. It's always been about making power at high RPMs and being a fast track car. Slapping on a turbo will make entering a turn slower than a N/A car...not to talk about torque steer which is really bad on the Speed3.

Well, I only mod if it substantially improves performance. An exhaust would give me, what, maximum 5HP - 7HP? I purchased FlashPro and a Takeda CAI and went from 183WHP to 211WHP. That translates to around 245HP. That's worth $600, in my opinion, and there's no annoyance with noise. The exhaust just isn't worth it unless you're planning to add a Supercharger or Turbo Kit, in which case you'd have to switch out the header, injectors, and so on.

That's just me, though. I know there are a lot of Si owners with loud exhaust... Got a few around my town as well.
