    That's quite a price jump for .1 (9300vs9500).

    question is are they drop in compatible with our laptops? Would it be a simple BIOS upgrade. Hell 6MB of cache, 500mhz clock jump from what I have for 300+$ That's a worthy upgrade. Now to mention they run cooler.

    It's always been like that, look at the T7200 vs T7400 or the T7300 vs T7500 when they first came out.

    With most laptops they should be drop in compatible, yes.

    The T9500 seems largely pointless to me.
