PCMCIA super disk -floppy adaptor-???

    I bought 3 years ago at COSCO , a sony model PCG-432L sn-28324230-330797 ,

    I need to connect it to DSL,so bought a USB -ethernet adaptor-BUT I cant get drivers installed,using an imation PCMCIA super disk -floppy adaptor-model SD PCMCIA

    It wont see it, I think because its class 1,PCMIA?? and it doesnt see it to install drivers,any ideas??

    I don't think the problem is with the Class1 rating of the card, the funny thing about these type of products, is that they require drivers to be installed first for it to work properly. Since this is a floppy drive replacement, it's going to be difficult. There's a couple things you can try:

    1. Since you're posting messages, I assume you have dial-up access, goto the manufacturers site for the SuperDisk and download the drivers there, install and try to plug FDD in and see if it works

    2. If you're using XP, buy a USB floppy drive and use that instead (unless the drivers for the USB network adapter are on a SuperDisk Disk) they will auto install drivers needed to work, if you have 98/ME, you again might have to download the drivers before it will work
