It's been a ride for me with high-end laptops, but I think it's time for me to move on now that portability doesn't matter too much.

    Specifications are as follows:

Bought from XoticPC, 6700K, 16 Gb DDR4-2132 Hyundai Electronics RAM (this is what CPU-Z said), 2 x 980M with heatsink and SLI cable, 250 Gb M.2 boot drive, Win10 Pro.

As far as "modding" goes the foil blockage on the bottom cover has been removed for better airflow. Other than the CPU running at 4.4Ghz -150mV nothing else has been overclocked.

If you like, share some pictures. Let me know the last price when you have it.
    Good luck.

    Will do.

    Some photos.

Laptop's sitting on homemade filtered cooler, so there's not much dust in the case.

6700K: ~$120-150, maybe $160 as it seems to be pretty decently binned
    16GB OEM SODIMM: $60-75 (80?)
980M's with all that jazz: $275-325 a pop?
    M.2: $30
    Barebones: $300-400?
    Total, around $700-900

Thank you for the price breakdown.

I'm thinking $1450 plus ship and fees when I put it up for sale and slowly reduce the price.

You can get $200+ for the 6700k's. Go take a look at ebay completed pre-owned sales from the last month. If it is decently binned, probably a hair more.

Depending on display, I'd say $500 for the barebones. It looks to be in great shape.

I can't imagine a scenario where you get $1450 for your setup, but good luck. If you're not adverse to eBay, you will probably net more there than here. If you piece it out, you might net a bit more but then have the headaches of multiple individual sales. I would sell at least one of the 980m's to start just to put a dent in your listing price. Are you running stock bios? Dsanke? Prema? Those (especially Prema), add value for some buyers.

Dunno any sane person who'd buy a 6700K for above $150 here, which is likely where OP is advertising it. Ofc he could sell off ebay, but then 10% fees apply.

I sold my 6700k for $155 locally, I regret that after I saw the eBay prices, I'm wondering why the 6700K still have this value?
