Antialiasing - that's like, when someone from the NSA who's playing along suddenly dox's a player in game chat. Like when a camper who everyone hates takes the name of a female anime character, get's doxxed as "George Renaldo Alcazar from San Jose, CA - DOB 3/7/62 - Latency: 1039ms - : male - marital staus: single - residence: section 8 housing"

    Antialiasing. :)

Today's lesson brought to you by the letter "F" and the number "0" and by the Peasants Guild of America - keeping peasants satiated so they won't revolt.

It's not surprising that you can't tell the difference between RTS and TBS, being in the "target audience" and all...

I'm sorry, are RTSes all of a sudden not strategy games? All the things that make controllers terrible for RTSes hold true for TBSes too. Stow your smug superiority, it's entirely undeserved.

    *looks at old school person*

    *stares in disbelief*

*doesn't know what makes old games so great, even after playing them. Perhaps lack of nostalgia?*

Because most of the time (not all the time, believe me), they're quick and FUN. Most FPSes are the same thing over and over again (plus I suck at them). RPGs (of any kind, old or new) take WAYYY to much time and dedication. SHMUPS (side-scrolling shoot-'em-ups, an inherently old-school genere) can be completed in as little as 30-60 minutes, but that's IF you can complete them. Being able to see how far you can get is fun, and they're extremely intense. Perfect for people who have very little time to sit down and dedicate themselves to a single video game.
