Remember, ultra does not always mean maximum all graphics setting
Like tomb raider 2013 has ultimate above ultra settings.
Anyway my whole point and very most important is: for pascal 1070 and above, we need 4K screen

Sure, hook it up to a 27" 4k.
But 15"/17" 4K? With the way Windows scales applications and the small screen, not really needed.
Unless u talk about desktop systems.

This. 4K is nice but only really noticeable on larger screens, imo. For anything below 27" e.g. a notebook display I would be fine with 1080p, maybe 1440p (120hz is a must for me nowadays)!
And seeing how a single GTX 1080 Desktop struggles at Witcher 3 @ 4K, maintaining only 43 FPS on average, does not make me want a 4K display either.

Hope Clevo and Sager impress me again this year. They're the only reason I've considered staying with gaming laptops.

Yet another leak about new MSI models, now from Philippines shop:

    It confirms previous information about GTX 1060 / 1070 / 1080 taking place of GTX 970M / 980M / 980 in corresponding notebook models.

It also confirms codename scheme from earlier leaks:

Interestingly though, this Vietnamese shop shows GTX 1060M / 1070M / 1080M branding (similarly to that Cambodian shop from few days ago):

Seems like Nvidia may have changed their branding guidelines at some point.

In any case, leaks like this show the launch must be getting very close. :)

This always happens with leaks... They very rarely get the name correct. Similar to how I ask people what GPU is in their laptop, they say, "Oh, it has the 970." When they really meant, "It has the 970M."

    1060M
    1070M
    1080M

Same as always, but this year we'll see new laptops with the desktop counterparts. ;)

Ok... so every mobile card will be 1 class below its desktop card. The same renaming **** as every year. What was this ****ty picture from "closing the gap" again? Until now I really thought we'd get same as desktop ones, but only with lower clocks (but at least with same name, same chip, same shader cores).

Ok... if the mobile 1060 will replace the 970m, what will the real "mainstream" get? Obviously the mobile 1050. And what will that be? The specs rumored from the "1060 3GB with 1152 shader cores"? Though this doesn't sound likely because the performance would not be much different compared to the 1060 with 1280 shader cores. I'd rather expect something with 1024 cores... similar to the 965m GTX.. or even less... I hope they don't pull their cheap 640 shader core trick again.

Ok... and what's below? What will the mobile 1040 be? Maxwell rebrands? Bleh...
