Yes that was done before I installed the card. BTW my bios version is V2.10L10 and controller version is V2.00L14. If this is not the latest bios let me know as I have been unable to locate it on the various Panasonic websites.

Is the WWAN card showing up in device manager? Has this bluetooth been tested before?

Did you start with SP2 or SP3 on the install?

When I get home I will have to see what revisions I have in my CF-18's bioses.

No the WWAN card does not show in the bios and to my knowledge the BT module has not been tested. My reinstalll disk is service pack 1 and I immediately installed SP 3 before I did anything else.

I think someone before jumped from Sp1 to Sp3 before and it didn't install bluetooth. If it's not showing up in bios you may need to see if the connection cable is seated correctly.

    CF 18 Mk5 Driver List

A nice pdf list of all drivers for the Mk5 I thought others might find useful, and nice addition to the CF18 thread:

    mk5-winxp-install-instructions.pdf

This however IS NOT the correct order of installation. The order of installation, as the experienced know, is of paramount importance.
But this will at least tell you what many of the file names represent.

Basically install the touchscreen driver first prior to ALL others (even the mouse) as described in the Toughbook sticky on main forum page.

Then video, sound, and others...LAN the very last driver to install.

Instead of searching everywhere, thought this would be nice for someone who logically would go immediately to CF 18 FAQ.

Kind regards and thanks to everyone here for all the help and taking time to contribute.
Could not have managed (and remained sane) without it..

neSome information I have learned with all the CF-18's I have,Microsoft never released a stand alone copy of XP tablet, that is straight from them after searching forever.

Panasonic no longer has CF-18 recovery discs for sale, however they will image your hard drive for the same price of $35 with the correct copy of XP and drivers back to factory, just call them.

All of the other factory discs are $35 and they have tons of models. I spent a lot of internet and phone time getting this info from panasonic and microsoft,I hope as these are authorized factory it is ok to post.
